Pamela
has extensive knowledge of the available vocational, mental health and social
service resources in the Richmond area. Her bi-lingual ability in both
English and Spanish has helped her coordinate her counseling activities with
local social workers,
hospitals, and agencies. She works equally well with children,
adolescents, and adults in individual, family, or group settings. An
Expressive Therapies graduate of Lesley College in Cambridge,
Massachusetts, Pamela furthered her artistic studies with a B.F.A in
Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

Pamela
served as a Psychotherapist at Roanoke Valley Psychiatric Center in Salem, Virginia
where she co-led psychodrama groups in adolescent and adult acute psychiatric
units and in an adult chemically dependent program. She was also the
primary therapist for
patients in adult and geriatric units.
For the past 15 years she has been an Art Therapist servicing clients of
all ages at Resource Guidance Services, Petersburg's Poplar Springs
Hospital, and the Recovery Center of Richmond.
