"I enjoy helping clients consider their choices, solve their problems,

and achieve mental and emotional health."

Sharon has been a practicing therapist for eleven years.  She completed her residency in Staunton, Virginia, then moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1996. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Sharon has been a counselor for CCA for the past seven years, helping individuals, couples, and families cope with the anger, guilt, and anxiety stemming from traumatic events.

Many of the clients who seek Sharon's counseling have spiritual issues that need attention. Often they are depressed, anxious, and are struggling to make sense out of their present condition. Sharon sees clients who are seeking to develop the inner strength they will need to overcome the adversity of these overwhelming times. Working with adults, Sharon specializes in alleviating the emotional pain and suffering associated with bereavement, life transition issues, depression and anxiety disorders, as well as marriage and family issues.
